Lindell Cain of Cadet, Missouri was born on December 16, 1945 in Mineral Point, Missouri a son of the late, Margaret Ann (Shipley) Cain and Fred William Cain. Lindell departed this life January 20, 2009 at his residence having reached the age of sixty-three years, one month and four days.

Lindell was united in marriage to Glenda Jean Sanders on October 9, 1965 in Mineral Point, Missouri.

Lindell is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Glenda Jean (Sanders) Cain of Cadet, Missouri; two sons, Rodney Cain and wife, Janie of Old Mines, Missouri, Eric Cain and wife, Misty of Mineral Point, Missouri; one sister, Goldie Boyer and husband Leonard of Old Mines, Missouri; four brothers, Donald Cain of Potosi, Missouri, Billy Joe Cain and wife, Mamie of Mineral Point, Missouri, Daniel Cain and wife, Flossie of Mineral Point, Missouri, Kenneth Cain and friend, Virginia of Mineral Point, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brianna, Abbi and Jayden; two very special nieces and health angels, Joyce Sampson and Patsy Portell; special nephew; Aaron Sanders, special cousin; Tracy Coleman; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, Lindell was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Cain and one sister, Rose Ann Torwegge.

Lindell loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was very proud of his sons and their integrity. Lindell was a past member of the Potosi Elks Lodge # 2218, Potosi, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting deer and turkey. Lindell loved Mother Nature and her many gifts. He also enjoyed watching old western shows on television.

Visitation was held Thursday, January 22, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, January 23, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Friday, January 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Cecil Warren officiating.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Lindell Sampson, Bunny Portell, Tracy Coleman, Jamie Cain, Rusty Sampson and Aaron Sanders.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
