Joyce Campbell of Cadet, Missouri was born on Wednesday, December 27, 1933 in Skowhegan, Maine a daughter of the late, Eva (Perkins) Plourde and Paul Plourde. Joyce departed this life on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-eight years, seven months and nine days.
Joyce was united in marriage to Richard Campbell and were blessed with three children.
Joyce is survived by one daughter, Sieglinde Miller of DeSoto, Missouri; Bahry Campbell of DeSoto, Missouri, Frank Campbell of Desloge, Missouri; one sister, Karen Veach and husband, Charles of Old Mines, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kyle Miller, Scottie Miller, Nathan Campbell, Adam Campbell; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Campbell, three brothers, Paul Plourde, Robert Plourde, Evan Plourde and one sister, Henrietta Bowen.
Joyce attended St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri. She enjoyed collecting knick-knacks and watching all the beautiful birds. Joyce was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and loved watching the games on television. She also enjoyed visiting with family and friends and playing cards with them. Joyce will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Visitation was held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
