Judy Carter of Crystal City, Missouri was born on Thursday, July 6, 1939 in Cadet, Missouri a daughter of the late, Mary Louise (Boyer) Bourisaw and Chester Joseph Bourisaw. Judy departed this life on Saturday, January 5, 2013 having reached the age of seventy-three years, five months and thirty days.
Judy was united in marriage to George Rayfield Carter on December 30, 1961 at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri and this union was blessed with three children.
Judy is survived by two daughters, Michelle Ford and husband, Sidney of O’Fallon, Missouri, Kimberly Carter of Arnold, Missouri; one son, George Terry Carter and wife, Maggie of Arnold, Missouri; four sisters, Mary Ann Rice of Potosi, Missouri, Norma Bequette of Crystal City, Missouri, Verna Pratt and husband, Sylvester of Crystal City, Missouri, Rita Johnston and husband, Earl of DeSoto, Missouri; one brother, Thomas F. Bourisaw and wife, Margie of Festus, Missouri; three grandchildren, Danielle Ford, Shannon Ford, Joseph Carter; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Carter and one brother, Theodore Bourisaw.
Judy attended the Mary Mother of the Church in St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoyed painting, making beautiful ceramics, sewing and doing all sorts of crafts. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Judy will be forever remembered for the love she shared.
Visitation was held Monday, January 7, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating assisted by Deacon Ed Boyer.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Sidney Ford, Darreld Pratt, Richard Carter, David Johnston, Morgan Bourisaw and Michael O’Tool.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
