Linda Ann Chamberlain of Potosi, Missouri was born on January 24, 1960 in Bonne Terre, Missouri a daughter of Paul Francis DeClue and the late, Margaret Rose (Boyer) DeClue. Linda departed this life on Friday, June 29, 2012 at her residence surrounded by family and friends having reached the age of fifty-two years, five months and five days.
Linda was united in marriage to Ron Chamberlain on June 16, 2001 in Old Mines, Missouri.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Ron Chamberlain of Potosi, Missouri; daughter, Chasity Wideman and husband, Billy of Potosi, Missouri; son, Derek DeClue of DeSoto, Missouri; father, Paul DeClue of Cadet, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Streckfuss and husband, Shane of Potosi, Missouri, Karen Chamberlain of Mineral Point, Missouri; two stepsons, Christopher Chamberlain of Farmington, Missouri, Ryan Chamberlain of Old Mines, Missouri; two brothers, Darrell DeClue of Cadet, Missouri, Phillip DeClue of Cadet, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Linda attended the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri and loved serving her Lord. She enjoyed spending time gardening flowers and vegetables. Linda also enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family and friends who always enjoyed her home cooked meals. Linda was a very kindhearted woman who loved her family and will be forever remembered for the love and laughter she shared.
Visitation was held Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, July 2, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
The Funeral Mass was Celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, July 2, 2012 at the St. Joachim Catholic Church with Father Ted Pieper officiating. The St. Joachim Church Choir provided music.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Honoring the Memory of Linda and serving, as Pallbearers were Chris Chamberlain, Eddie Chamberlain, Shane Streckfuss, Billy Wideman, Phillip DeClue and Derek DeClue.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
