Charles Henry Compton

Charles Henry Compton of Potosi, was born May 14, 1933 in Elvens, Missouri a son to the late Earl Compton and Cordlia (Byers) Compton. Charles passes away July 30, 2024 having reached the age of 91 years.

 Charles is survived by his grandchildren, Brandon Compton and wife Angel, Travis Trupka and wife Mackenzie; great grandchildren, Paxton and Jaxson Trupka and Drake Compton. Also surviving are many other relatives and friends. 

 In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Compton; wife Beverly Compton, sisters, Betty Compton, Ruby Compton and half-brother, Glinwood Tiger.

Charles proudly served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He was a loving family man always putting others before himself. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
