Betty A. Chazelle of Potosi, Missouri was born on Sunday, March 23, 1947 in Old Mines, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at the Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of sixty years, nine months and three days.
Betty Barton was united in marriage to Annas Burnard Chazelle, Jr. on June 2, 1967 at St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri by Father Burgholf and this union was blessed with three children.
Betty is survived by her husband, Annas Chazelle, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri; two daughters, Chala Short and husband, Tim of Potosi, Missouri, Angela Chazelle of Little Rock, Arkansas; one son, Donald Chazelle and wife, Jennie of Thompson, Georgia; mother and father, Dorothy (Juliette) Barton and Donnie Barton of Potosi, Missouri; two sisters, Norma Maxwell of Farmington, Missouri, Donita Skaggs and husband, Paul of Mineral Point, Missouri; three grandchildren, Lane Short, Luke Short and Tommy Stitzel and mother-in-law, Mary Chazelle of Potosi, Missouri.
Betty attended the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri. She enjoyed doing craftwork, sewing and stamping. Betty also enjoyed reading and baking. She will be greatly missed by all of her loved ones.
Visitation was held Friday, December 28, 2007 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, December 29, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A prayer service was held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 4:00 PM held by Father George Galovich.
A Funeral Mass was Celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri with Father George Galovich officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jeff Chazelle, Jim Chazelle, Mike Chazelle, Charles Chazelle, Robert Chazelle, Wayne Chazelle, Mike Chazelle, Ronnie Chazelle and Jeff Johnson.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
