Norma Ruth Nash Clark



Norma Nash Clark of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on March 13, 1938 in Bonne Terre, Missouri a daughter of the late, Jessie Lee (Cain) Pierce and Joseph Wilford Pierce. Norma departed this life on April 5, 2009 at the Parkland Health Center, Farmington, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-one years and twenty-three days.

Norma is survived by her loving husband, Fred Clark of Mineral Point, Missouri; six daughters, Mary Lou Nash of Wortham, Missouri, Virginia Nash and husband, Dennis of Farmington, Missouri, Nancy DeClue and husband, Johnny of Mineral Point, Missouri, Polly Nash of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Kathy Drennen and husband, Marty, Sr. of Mineral Point, Missouri, Theresa McMullin and husband, Ernie of Wortham, Missouri; one brother, David Ray Pierce of Park Hills, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Genevieve Goosey and husband, Wilburn of Berrien Springs, Michigan; special neighbor, Tina Hammers and son, Cody of Mineral Point, Missouri; former son-in-law, Jeff Hedrick, Sr. of Mineral Point, Missouri; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, John Henry Nash who passed away August 19, 1996, son, Joseph Clinton Nash, sister, Edna Mae Pierce, four grandchildren, Marty Blaine Drennen, Jr., Kayla Elizabeth Drennen, Scotty Ray DeClue and John Lee DeClue.

Norma loved family gatherings especially during the holidays, being able to cook large meals for everyone to enjoy. She enjoyed collecting wind chimes, sewing and going to auctions. She also loved the outdoors, going fishing and camping, and working in her flower garden. Norma enjoyed traveling all around the United States seeing all the beautiful sights. Her memory will live on through her family, friends and the many lives she has touched.

Visitation was held Wednesday, April 8, 2009 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, April 9, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Jacob Pollard officiating. Honoring Norma by serving as pallbearers were her daughters: Mary Lou, Virginia, Nancy, Polly, Kathy, Theresa and honorary pallbearers: Joey Nash, Ernest “Bubby” McMullin, Matthew DeClue, Kevin Boyer, Jennifer Aldaba, Cody Hammers and Robert Nash.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Germania Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
