Clyde Eugene Walker, Jr., of Cadet, Missouri, passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 72. Born on April 7, 1952, in Granite City, Illinois, Clyde was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Clyde was united in marriage to Vicki (Miller) Walker on December 15, 1976, and together they lovingly shared 48 years of life, creating countless memories and strengthening their bond each day. His family was his pride and joy, and he took great pride in being a father and grandfather.
Clyde is survived by his beloved wife, Vicki Walker; daughter, Kindi Wells and her husband Dale of Troy, Illinois; son, Billy Walker and his wife Jessica of Granite City, Illinois; and siblings Earlene Lee and her husband Eddie of Granite City, Illinois, Donna Fletcher and her husband Todd of Hillsboro, Missouri, and brother, Chuck Walker of Granite City, Illinois. Clyde is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Austin Weiser and wife Ryanna, Kilee Walker, Dallas Wells, and Wyatt Walker, along with many other relatives and friends who will hold his memory close to their hearts.
Throughout his life, Clyde was actively involved in his community and pursued passions that brought him much joy. He was a dedicated member of the Bass Club, Eagles, and National Wild Turkey Foundations, and he possessed a profound love for the outdoors. Clyde often spent his time enjoying nature and relishing moments with family and friends, reflecting a spirit that embraced the beauty of life.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Walker, Sr. and Marilyn (Murphy) Walker, as well as his sister, Marylin Walker. Their memory will continue to be etched in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
As we remember Clyde let us honor his legacy of love, dedication, and the warmth he spread among all he met. His spirit will surely continue to live on in the lives of his family and friends.
