Cody Franklin Randall, a beloved member of the Potosi community, was born January 3, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri, a son to the late Nigal (Hibdon) Doyle and Frank Harold Randall. Cody peacefully departed this life July 18, 2024 reaching the age of 81 years and leaving countless memories.
On March 25, 1967 Cody was united in marriage to Sandra Kay (Sansegraw) Randall and they were blessed with three children and 57 wonderful years together.
Those left to cherish him memory include his wife, Kay Randall, daughter, Jamie Cain and husband Billy; bonus daughter, Carol Melvin and husband Curtis; sons, Jerry Randall and wife Tammy, Greg Randall and wife Sherain; sister, Vickey Worthley and husband Walt; brother, Ronald Randall and wife Donna; grandchildren, Carla Randall, Justin (Stephanie) Randall, A.J. Foncannon, Lucas (Haley) Berry, Jerra Randall (Fiancé Nick Juliette), Eli (Haley) Berry, Wyatt (Jaiden) Bust, McKayla Randall, McKenna Randall, Garrett Randall, Dylon Randall, Kyhra (Dalton) Dipprey, Morgan Kirby, Sydney Gray, Garrison Gray, Aric Gray; bonus grandchildren, Erica Johnson, Janiah Like; great grandchildren, Landon Sprous, Weston Sprous, Miah Sprous, Scarlett Berry, Hank Berry, Madilyn Randall, Brooklyn King, also surviving are many nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.
In addition to his parents, Cody was preceded in death by his sisters, Jennietta Martin (Jerry Galbraith), Waneta (Bill) Mertgen; brother, Randy (Carol) Randall; In-laws, Jules Sansegraw and Mildred Sansegraw.
One of the best ways to describe Cody is “Life of the Party”. His favorite place to be was with his friends and family, telling stories or listening to music. He had a passion for working with cattle and horses and at heart was a true cowboy. He also worked for many years as a lineman for Ameren. He was a true provider and protector of his family. He lived a life that will continue to conjure up memories that will always bring a smile to those who loved him dearly.
