Carl “Dee” David Coleman
Carl “Dee” of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on Thursday, August 27, 1942 in Mineral Point, Missouri. He was the son of the late Fred J. Coleman and Annie Marie (Gilliam) Coleman. Carl “Dee” departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Potosi Manor in Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-three years, one month and nine days.
Carl “Dee” was united in marriage to Carol (Kincaid) Coleman on June 22, 1968 in Old Mines, Missouri, and to this union were blessed with three children.
Carl “Dee” is survived by his loving wife, Carol Coleman of Mineral Point, Missouri, son, Dave Coleman and wife Lorraine of Mineral Point, Missouri, two daughters, Lisa Harris and husband Kenneth of Desloge, Missouri, Julie Juliette and husband Stacy of Mineral Point, Missouri, two brothers, Francis “Kittle” Coleman of Mineral Point, Missouri, Stanley Coleman of Potosi, Missouri, five grandchildren, Amie, Talesha, Karissa, Robert, and Dylan. Carl “Dee” was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Catherine Prather, three brothers, John Ade Coleman, Donald Coleman, and Frank Coleman.
Carl “Dee” liked fishing, hunting and just enjoying the many gifts of Mother Nature. He loved to have family gatherings barbequing and spending time with his grandchildren. Carl “Dee” also enjoyed playing cards, pitch, poker, and horseshoes. He could always make you smile with some type of wise crack. Carl “Dee” will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 7, 2005 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, October 8, 2005 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Services was celebrated on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating.
Burial took place at Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Pete Coleman, Stacy Juliette, Rick Coleman, Jim Coleman, Kenny Harris and Dave Coleman.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
