James "Jimmy" Coleman

James "Jimmy" Dale Coleman of Potosi, Missouri was born Sunday, May 16, 1954 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, he was the son of the late, Paul James Coleman and the late, Dolores Jean (Cook) Coleman. Jimmy departed this life on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of sixty years, ten months and three days.
He is survived by wife, Michelle Skaggs of Potosi, Missouri; daughters, Aimee Miner and fiancé, Matt Eaton of Potosi, Missouri; Katherine Coleman of Saint Louis, Missouri; step-son, Matt Skaggs and wife, Shannon of Potosi, Missouri; brothers, Jerry "Spider" Coleman of Potosi, Missouri; Mike and Danetta Coleman of Potosi, Missouri; Mark Coleman of Saint Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren, Kaylee Miner, Tyler Miner, Katelynn Miner, Emma Eaton, Ean Eaton; also surviving are other relatives and many, many friends including, Steve Trokey, Dean Portell and Joe Bust. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Roger Coleman and son-in-law, Michael Miner.
Jimmy was a very active and strong supporter of the Potosi Elks Lodge # 2218. He loved spending time at Woodland Lakes going fishing and socializing with his many friends. He enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR and all types of sports. Jimmy will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Visitation was held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held at 10:00 AM on Monday at Moore Memorial Chapel located at 105 Clark Street Potosi, Missouri 63664 with Reverend Rodger Fleming officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial was held in Calvary Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Todd Moyers, Robbie Jenkins, Steve Cook, Gary Thompson, Charles Grissom, Jr., Bob Reed and honorary pallbearers, Joe Bust, Steve Trokey and Dean Portell.
Moore Funeral Homes was honored to have served Jimmy, his family and friends.
