Madeline Coleman of Potosi, Missouri was born on Thursday, September 29, 1927 in Racola, Missouri a daughter of the late, Lillie (Pratt) Sansoucie and Louis J. Coleman. Madeline departed this life on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-two years, eleven months and twenty-four days.

Madeline was united in marriage to Martin Simeon Coleman on May 27, 1944 in Richwoods, Missouri.

Madeline is survived by three daughters, Judy Wilson and husband, Terry of Atlanta, Georgia, Ellen Boyer and husband, Gerard of Jackson, Missouri, Patricia Young of Pevely, Missouri; four sons, Daniel Coleman of Cadet, Missouri, Richard Coleman and wife, Kim of Potosi, Missouri, Charles Glenn Coleman of Cadet, Missouri, Alan Coleman and wife, Lori of Perry, Oklahoma; nine sisters, Eugenia Davis and husband, Richard of St. Louis, Missouri, Joyce Haeffner and husband, Dan of Arnold, Missouri, Sue Hildrich and husband, Gene of St. Louis, Missouri, Marilyn Horton and husband, Ray of St. Louis, Missouri, Elaine Darabeck and husband, Joe of St. Louis, Missouri, Betty Moore of St. Louis, Missouri, Joann Nelson of St. Louis, Missouri, Barbara Fry of St. Louis, Missouri, Becky Jones and husband, Max of Steelville, Missouri; two brothers, Louis Coleman and wife, Norma of Grants Pass, Oregon, Raymond Moore of Valle Park, Missouri; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Coleman, one son, Roger David Coleman, one sister, Mary Manley, one brother, Ronnie Coleman and one infant great grandchild.

Madeline was a parishioner of the St. Joachim Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Madeline enjoyed canning all kinds of fruits and vegetables. She will be greatly remembered for her love, laughter and caring heart.

Visitation was held Friday, September 24, 2010 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper and Reverend Joe Welschmeyer officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Mavrick Boyer, Matthew Oakley, Jason Coleman, Bobby Coleman, Scott Wilson and Marty Fritz.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
