Rick "Dog" Leon Coleman

Richard Leon “Dog” Coleman, also known as Rick, of St. Louis, Missouri was born January 3, 1951 in Ironton, Missouri a son to the late Leon Coleman and Rose Ann (Johnston) Coleman- Richards. Rick departed this life Tuesday, March 17, 2020 having reached the age of 69 years, 2 months and 14 days
Rick is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Lomax of St. Louis, Missouri; son, Leon “Joe” Coleman and wife Emily of Potosi, Missouri; three sisters: Mary Jane Price of Blackwell, Missouri, Carmen A. Litton and husband Johnnie of Blackwell, Missouri, Kathryn Thompson and husband Bill of Hillsboro, Missouri; one brother, Edward “Fish” Coleman and wife Stephanie of Cadet, Missouri; eight grandchildren: Destiny, Justice, Darren, Tessa, Brittany, Peyton, Bella, Brittany; two great grandchildren, Paycen, Kayden and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Coleman
Rick was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving from July 1969 – January 1972. He enjoyed the peaceful walks he took with his loving dog, Bubba. After their walk, they would sit down to relax and watch The Price is Right. He loved to take trips around the country with his favorite destination being Las Vegas. His greatest joy in life was his loving family, friends and good fried chicken from Hodaks. His spirited sense of adventure, love and kindness will be treasured by all.
