Rosie Jane Coleman of Old Mines, Missouri was born on Saturday, September 23, 1933 in Old Mines, Missouri a daughter of the late, Magdeline (Boyer) Sanders and Minor Sanders. Rosie departed this life on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-eight years and twenty-two days.

Rosie is survived by four sons, James Coleman and wife, Rose Lea of Cadet, Missouri, Dennis Coleman of Cadet, Missouri, Wayne Coleman and wife, Kathy of Cadet, Missouri, Tracy Coleman of Cadet, Missouri; son-in-law, Richard Henry of Potosi, Missouri; three grandchildren, Carol McMahan and husband, Bobby, Andrea Coleman, Cassandra Coleman; two great-grandchildren, Daelyn Wickerham, Ava McMahan; her favorite pet, Teddy; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear and special friends. In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Francis Coleman, one daughter, Nora Elizabeth Henry, two sons, Vincent Coleman, William Coleman, six sisters, Louise Mae Boyer, Annie Hammonds, Ada Driscoll, Ethel Richards, Gertrude Bourbon, Elizabeth Schillings, two brothers, Melvin Sanders, Cad Sander, five half-brothers, Bernard “Buck” Sanders, Roland Sanders, Frank Sanders, Willie Golden and Edward Golden.

Rosie was a member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time working outside in her flower garden and watching the humming birds. Rosie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking care of her cats and dogs and going to yard sales. Rosie was also a collector of dolls and knickknacks. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, who she so deeply loved.

Visitation was held Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Monsignor James Hanson officiating.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Rodney Cain, Eric Cain, Michael McGuire, Kenneth Thebeau, Ronnie Thebeau, Kenny Reando, Jason Thebeau and Robert Boyer.

A Memorial Luncheon was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Old Mines sponsored by the Knights and the St. Joachim Catholic Church Parish following all services.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
