Stanley Wayne Coleman
Stanley Coleman of Potosi, Missouri was born on Saturday, October 25, 1947 in Mineral Point, Missouri a son of the late, Letta Marie (Gough) Coleman and Roy Stanley Coleman. Stanley departed this life on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Washington Country Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-two years, five months and twenty-four days.
Stanley was united in marriage to Nancy Gibson on February 16, 1980 in Potosi, Missouri.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife, Nancy J. Coleman of Potosi, Missouri; one daughter, Lettie Jean Boyer and husband, Mark of Old Mines, Missouri; one son, Dennis James Coleman of Potosi, Missouri; two brothers, Michael Roy Coleman and wife, Dora Jean of Potosi, Missouri, Richard Neil Coleman and wife, Irma of Ohio; two grandchildren, Carrie and Lacie. In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Rodney Coleman.
Stanley enjoyed sitting on his porch watching the birds, listening to the wind chimes and admiring Mother Nature. He was a past member of the Board of Directors for the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri. Stanley was a past Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed working with the troops.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, April 21, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Wayne Isgriggs officiating. Honoring Stanley by serving as pallbearers were: Dennis Coleman, Wayne Coleman, Mark Boyer, Bernard Hall, Marcus Hall and John Dickey.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
