Tony took great pleasure spending time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His time was well spent with him in a tree stand or sitting on the cold ground waiting for a deer to cross his path. Tony spent many hours sighting in his rifles or target shooting with his bow so he wouldn’t let the “big one get away”.
His Sunday afternoons were well spent walking with Emily and Dalton to the pond to catch a big fish or at a shooting match using his rifles he took so much time to sight in. Week long deer hunting trips were not unusual for Tony and Nathan to take because the big buck was out there waiting.
Tony loved listening to George Jones and singing along but recently his son, Eric was the one he sang along with. On weeknights Eric, Cassi, Tony and Pam would play cards, with Tony and Cassi being partners.
Without a doubt the day his daughter, Cindy graduated nursing school was one of his proudest moments as he held her close and told her how pleased he was. Tony was able to provide his daughter Stephanie with his undivided attention as she was his pride and joy and when she arrived with Dalton, Kerstyn and Ashton good times were had by all, because time spent with his grandchildren was time not wasted. These were the times Tony cherished most and when the cards came out to be dealt Clay was the first one to sit at the table where Tony and he would tell stories one after another, entertaining everyone.
Tony and Pam were married twenty-nine years and throughout the years they fussed, argued, laughed, cried and loved but always found their way home at the end of the day.
