Tyler Joseph Courtois of Potosi, MO was born February 11, 1999, a son of Brandon Courtois and Lashonda Shelton Courtois. Tyler departed this life on April 10, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, having reached the age of nineteen years, one month and thirty days.
Tyler is survived by his father Brandon Courtois and wife Janelle of Potosi, MO, mother, Lashonda Shelton Courtois and significant other Adam Gorman of Potosi, MO, three brothers; Logan Courtois of Potosi, MO, Jaxen Courtois of Potosi, MO, Jaren Wilkerson of Potosi, MO, three sisters; Shayla Courtois of Potosi, MO, Madelyn Courtois of Potosi, MO, Gwen Gorman of Potosi, MO, special nephew Hayden Berry, paternal grandparents; Mary Rose and Dan Nieman of Bella Vista, AR, Tony and Julie Courtois of Mineral Point, MO, Jim and Joyce Wilkerson of Potosi, MO, maternal grandparent, Patricia Shelton of Potosi, MO, great grandmother, Patsy Courtois of Mineral Point, MO., special cousins, Chloe, Kason, Savana and Megan and by many other dear and special relatives and dear friends.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandpa Ed Hoppy Shelton, great grandparents, Harold Courtois and Margie and Ervin Sansoucie.
Tyler was an avid outdoorsman with a heart of gold. He enjoyed going hunting or fishing, along with four wheeling. Tyler always wanted to bring smiles and laughter to those around him. His favorite times were spent with his brothers and sisters as well as his best friend and buddy Hayden. Tyler will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who had known him. Especially the four he saved after his passing. A 44 year old man received his heart, a 62 year old woman received his liver and two young women, one 38 and one 35, received his kidneys.
