Robert "Bob" Courtway

Robert “Bob” Courtway of Cadet, MO was born June 13, 1956 in St. Louis city a son to the late Harry “Homer” Courtway and Gladys Serene (Williams) Courtway. Robert departed this life Monday July 29, 2019 having reached the age of 63 years, 1 month and 16 days.
On January 31, 1976 Robert was united in marriage to Cheryl (Aubuchon) Courtway in Cadet, MO and they shared 43 wonderful years together.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Cheryl, one daughter Holly Courtway of Cadet, MO, one son Nathan Courtway and Angela Little of Cadet, MO, two sisters Rita McNail and husband Jack of Lesterville, MO, Brenda Shaumann and husband George of St. Louis, MO, two brothers Stanley Courtway and wife Linda of St. Louis, MO, Jerry Courtway and wife Judy of Palm Coast, FL, father-in-law Leon Aubuchon of Cadet, MO, brother and sister- in-laws Brenda and Paul Bennet of Cadet, MO, Carrie and Clifton Wicker of Cadet, MO, Kevin Aubuchon of Cadet, MO, Four grandchildren, Zachary Courtway, Kelsey Courtway, Kendra Courtway, Aniah Jordon and one great grandson Benjamin Courtway along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one son Robert Dale Courtway Jr., one brother David Courtway, one sister Candia Bourbon, mother-in-law Martha Aubuchon and brother-in-law Garland Aubuchon.
Robert was a kind and loving man who enjoyed the many gifts and activities of the outdoors. Robert loved to hunt and was ready to go on a fishing trip anytime. Robert especially loved to look for arrow heads left by Native Americans. Robert loved to sit around a bonfire with his family and friends, sharing stories and laughing. Robert loved his grandkids dearly and the time they spent together he held close to his heart
