Bessie “Susie” Craig of Ellington and O’Fallon, Missouri was born on Tuesday, April 28, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter of the late, Fonda Ree (Remmert) Craig and George Walter Craig. Bessie departed this life on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of seventy-eight years, six months and five days.
Bessie is survived by two brothers, George Craig and wife, Jennie of St. Louis, Missouri, David Craig of Ellington, Missouri; nieces and nephews: Karen Marler and husband, Dan of Cadet, Missouri, Debbie Koch and husband, John of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Connie Koch and husband, Paul of Cadet, Missouri, Steven Craig and wife, Barb of O’Fallon, Missouri, Robert Craig and wife, Donna of Wilmington, Delaware, Beth Fritts and husband, Kenn of Belton, Missouri, James Craig and wife, Libby of Raymore, Missouri, Jennifer Alva and husband, Ron of Florissant, Missouri; also surviving are many other relatives and friends.
Bessie or “Susie” as her family and friends often called her, loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed going bowling and doing jigsaw puzzles. “Susie” will be greatly remembered for the love and laughter she shared.
Visitation was held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri and Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shepard Funeral Chapel, St. Louis, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Shepard Funeral Chapel, St. Louis, Missouri.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
