David Ferrell, a beloved figure in his community and cherished family member, passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 77. Born on June 7, 1947, in Irondale, Missouri, David lived a life rich with love, laughter, and dedication.
David was known for his fun-loving spirit and strong work ethic. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to those need, embodying very essence of kindness and compassion. His hobbies included spending cherished moments with his grandchildren, enjoying a drink while listening to country music, cooking delicious meals, and watching wrestling, which brought him immense joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Ruth (Beck) Ferrell and Zellie Ferrell, and his brothers, Charles and Donald Ferrell. David's legacy continues through his loving family. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Amanda Porterfield and her husband Paul, residing in Irondale, MO; his two brothers, Lester Ferrell and his wife Marilyn of Hillsboro, MO, and Roger Ferrell and his wife Gerry of Maryland Heights, MO; his sister-in-law Caroline Ferrell; his grandchildren, Emma Pingel and her husband Brendan, and Christopher Porterfield and his partner Summer; his great-grandchildren, Hayden Pingel, Sunny Porterfield, and Clara Sue Porterfield; and his special niece Karen Ferrell. Additionally, he is remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who hold dear the moments they shared with him.
David's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, forever illuminating their lives with the warmth of his kind spirit and joyful laughter.
