Jimmy DeClue of Potosi, Missouri was born on November 15, 1963 in Kirkwood, Missouri. Jimmy departed this life on April 27, 2018 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis surrounded by the love of his family and in the arms of his Lord. Jimmy was Fifty-four years, five months and 12 days of age.
Jimmy was a long time member and faithful member of the St. James Catholic Church and the St. James Knights of Columbus.
Jimmy is survived by his loving and caring parents, Delores and Joseph “Joe” DeClue of Potosi, two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Breedlove and her husband Taylor of Bonne Terre and Emily Marie DeClue of Festus. One dear sister, Julie M. Jost and her husband Bob of Potosi. Three brothers, Mark Joseph DeClue and his wife Peggy of Bonne Terre, Dale Christopher DeClue and his wife Loretta of Cadet and Denny Stephen DeClue and his wife Lisa of Cadet. One grandson, Blake Breedlove of Bonne Terre and by many nieces, nephews and many many other dear and special relatives and friends.
Jimmy had a great love for family and friends. Throughout his life he made his family number one. Jimmy’s heart and soul was guided by his faith and always kept others first in his life. He enjoyed playing his guitar. He was known for his ability to work on about anything and put his mechanic skills to work for anyone. He would relax watching television and using his phone. He loved to pack up and go camping throughout Missouri or just go to the family farm and relax with all. Jimmy was always ready to help anyone who would ask or just hint of needing a hand. Anytime around Jimmy was always a lot of fun. He leaves a legacy of Faith and Love for his Savior. Through all his dark valley’s, Jimmy never lost sight of his Lord.
