Leo DeClue

Leo DeClue of Belgrade, Missouri was born on Monday, July 8, 1935 in Belgrade, Missouri a son of the late, Zula (Goodson) DeClue and Farris DeClue. Leo departed this life on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-two years, three months and twenty days.

Leo is survived by three daughters, Tressa Bone and husband, Charles of Belgrade, Missouri, Tammy Gibson and husband, Andy of Potosi, Missouri, Tanya Walker and husband, Jeff of Belgrade, Missouri; one son, Jason DeClue of Belgrade, Missouri; three sisters, Earleen “Sam” Villmer and husband, Richard of Old Mines, Missouri, Linda Kay Messex of Old Mines, Missouri, Blanche Essmyer and husband, Clyde of Potosi, Missouri; three brothers, Carl DeClue and wife, Darleen of Belgrade, Missouri, Linney DeClue of Belleview, Missouri, Darrel DeClue and wife, Beverly of Charlotte, North Carolina; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and special friend and companion, Bertha Vance of Potosi, Missouri. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ina DeClue, one son, Mitchell DeClue, one sister, Doris Wilkins and one great grandson, Braden.

Leo enjoyed playing music for his family and friends. He loved spending time in the outdoors going fishing and camping. Leo loved his family and spending time with them.

Visitation was held Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Joe Gensier officiating and Reverend Ronnie Woods assisting. Serving as pallbearers were: Jason DeClue, Andy Gibson, Jeff Walker, Jeffry Walker, Tony Gibson and Rick Montcolm.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Scott Cemetery, Belgrade, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
