Margaret Rose DeClue of Cadet, Missouri was born on Friday, February 20, 1942 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter of the late, Nellie (Miller) Boyer and Edward Joseph Boyer. Margaret departed this life on Sunday, December 11, 2011 having reached the age of sixty-nine years, nine months and twenty-one days.
Margaret was united in marriage to Paul Francis DeClue on April 25, 1959 at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Paul DeClue of Cadet, Missouri; one daughter, Linda Chamberlain and husband, Ronnie of Potosi, Missouri; two sons, Darrell DeClue of Cadet, Missouri, Phillip DeClue of Cadet, Missouri; one sister, Edith Marler of Mineral Point, Missouri; three brothers, Lawrence Boyer and wife, Nelda of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Paul Boyer and wife, Joan of St. Louis, Missouri, Robert Boyer and wife, Mary of Old Mines, Missouri; six grandchildren, Chasity Wideman and husband, Billy, Derek DeClue, Shawn DeClue and wife, Melissa, Kaleb DeClue, Amanda DeClue, Whitney DeClue; two great-grandchildren, Colby Mosier, Ryley Skaggs; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by four sisters, Trudy Edwards, Mary Etta Boyer, Gladys Mary Boyer, Theresa Golden, six brothers, Jack Boyer, Ed Boyer, Lee Boyer, Dan Boyer, James Orvil Boyer and John Boyer.
Margaret was a parishioner of the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri. She loved working in her flower and vegetable gardens and feeding and watching the humming birds. Margaret enjoyed going dancing and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for the love and laughter she shared.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Phillip DeClue, Billy Wideman, Bob Golden, Craig Boyer, Pat DeClue and Billy Golden.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
