Leslie Ed DeGonia of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on Monday, November 15, 1943 in Mineral Point, Missouri a son of the late, Viola (Beckmeyer) DeGonia and William DeGonia. Ed departed this life on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Mercy Hospital, St. Lois, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-eight years and twenty-nine days.

Ed is survived by three sons, Timothy A. Eads and wife, Crystal of Bay City, Texas, Kenneth R. McMahan and wife, Teresa of Potosi, Missouri, Danny L. McMahan and wife, Rebecca of Shirley, Missouri; three sisters, Ruth Ann Allen and husband, Alvia of Wright City, Missouri, Betty Creech and husband, Thomas of Wright City, Missouri, Ann Lawrence of Warrenton, Missouri; two brothers, Earl Dave DeGonia and wife, Grace of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Robert DeGonia and wife, Faye of Wright City, Missouri; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Flora DeGonia, two sisters, Marie Glore, Dorothy Landers, two brothers, Albert DeGonia, Virgil DeGonia.

Visitation was held Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Rick Allen, Eric Creech, David Lynn DeGonia, Derek DeGonia, Bobby DeGonia and Phillip DeGonia.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
