LLOYD RAYMOND DE LONG OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, WAS BORN JUNE 29, 1967, IN STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA, A SON OF MARY ANN ISERT AND THE LATE RAYMOND JACK DE LONG. LLOYD DEPARTED THIS LIFE SUDDENLY ON JULY 18, 1999, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF THIRTY-TWO YEARS AND NINETEEN DAYS.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS MOTHER AND STEP-FATHER, MARY ANN AND RON ISERT, SR. OF POTOSI, THREE BROTHERS, BRIAN ISERT OF VALLEY SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, RON ISERT, JR. OF POTOSI, CHRIS ISERT OF STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA, FOUR SISTERS, RENEE SPRINGS AND HUSBAND ALLEN OF STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA, MARLENE TAYLOR AND HUSBAND RICK OF STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA, BRITTANY ISERT OF POTOSI, KIMBERLY ISERT OF STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA, A SPECIAL AUNT JUDY IVIE AND HUSBAND BILL OF POTOSI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS FATHER HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE BROTHER, RAYMOND DE LONG.
LLOYD WAS A FREE SPIRITED INDIVIDUAL WHO HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR LIFE AND THE OUTDOORS, ENJOYING CAMPING AND BIKE RIDING. LLOYD WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP OTHERS ANYTIME HE COULD. LLOYD LOOKED FORWARD TO AND ENJOYED THE TIME SPENT WITH HIS FAMILY ESPECIALLY HIS NEPHEWS AND NIECES.
LLOYD HAD THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR HIS MOTHER, ALWAYS READY TO PROTECT HER FROM ADVERSE SITUATIONS. LLOYD'S VAST MECHANICAL SKILLS WAS A GIFT THAT HE ENJOYED EVEN AS A SMALL CHILD AND WAS AN AVENUE THAT HELPED CREATE A STRONG AND LOVING BOND WITH THE MAN WHO WAS MUCH MORE THAN HIS STEP FATHER.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE WAS HELD FRIDAY, JULY 23, 1999, AT 2:00 P.M. AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL WITH REV. BILL WARREN OFFICIATING.
SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
