Lee Allen Drennen of Cadet, Missouri was born on Wednesday, January 15, 1936 in Bretton Creek, Missouri a son of the late, Estelle (Cain) Drennen and Floyd Drennen. Lee departed this life on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 having reached the age of seventy-six years, ten months and nineteen days.
Lee was united in marriage to Nancy Wren on April 20, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri and was blessed with four sons.
Lee is survived by his wife, Nancy Drennen of Cadet, Missouri; four sons, Randy Drennen and wife, Mary “Zippy” of Mineral Point, Missouri, Allen Drennen and wife, Diane of Richwoods, Missouri, Jeffrey Drennen and fiancé, Erma Jean, James Drennen and wife, Tamara of Cadet, Missouri; four sisters, Ruthie Williamson and husband, Ralph “Sonny” of Mineral Point, Missouri, Peggy Brand of Potosi, Missouri, Phyllis Scott and husband, Marvin “Scotty” of Bismarck, Missouri, Barbara Tynes and husband, Anthony of Vichy, Missouri; two brothers, Terry Drennen of Mineral Point, Missouri, Lennus Drennen and wife, Debbie of Mineral Point, Missouri; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by three sisters, Nadine, Bonnie, Marlene; three brothers, Marvin, Wayne and one infant.
Lee enjoyed working and giving horse and buggy rides. He loved visiting with everyone especially his grandchildren. Lee also enjoyed going to trailer rallies and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Visitation was held Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Wilbur Cain officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: John Drennen, Jared Drennen, Josh Akers, Bud Rea, Donald Kincaid, Willy Drennen, Lennus “Shorty” Drennen, Jr. and Beau Williams.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
