Marty Blaine Drennen, Jr. of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on February 3, 1986 in Potosi, Missouri and departed this life on January 1, 2009 having reached the age of twenty-two years, ten months and twenty-nine days.

Blaine is survived by his mother and father, Kathy Lynn Drennen and Marty Drennen, Sr. of Mineral Point, Missouri; two daughters, Sierra Drennen of Cadet, Missouri, Laney Drennen of Mineral Point, Missouri; one sister, Lacey Sue Boyer and husband, Kevin of Mineral Point, Missouri; girlfriend, Tasha Pickett of Mineral Point, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Alma Drennen of Mineral Point, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Norma Nash of Mineral Point, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Robert and Jane Drennen of Cadet, Missouri, Virgil and Betty Drennen of Cadet, Missouri, Cindy and Larry Miller of Mineral Point, Missouri, Crystal and Tim Tipton of Ellington, Missouri, Marvin and Angie Drennen of Cadet, Missouri, Heather DeClue of Cadet, Missouri, Ralph Drennen of Bourbon, Missouri, June and Sam Votoaw of Porter, Texas, Ronnie Drennen of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Lillie Drennen of Granite City, Illinois, Jeannie and Mike Lohr of St. Louis, Missouri, Marry Lou and Jim Hurley of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Virginia and Dennis Nash of Farmington, Missouri, Polly Nash of Mineral Point, Missouri, Theresa and Ernie McMullen of Leadwood, Missouri, Nancy and Johnny DeClue of Mineral Point, Missouri, Jeff Hedrick of Mineral Point, Missouri; also surviving are many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Kayla Drennen, paternal grandfather, Marvin Drennen, Sr., maternal grandfather, Henry Nash, Uncle Jerry Drennen and Uncle Joseph Nash.

Blaine loved to travel and compete in many bull-riding competitions, placing in several. He enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors hunting and fishing. Blaine’s greatest love was his family, he loved spending time with his nephews and especially his girls.

Visitation was held Saturday, January 3, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Tim Tipton officiating.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Marvin Drennen, Jr., Anthony DeClue, Robert Drennen, Billy Skaggs, Alex Aldaba, Bruce Akers, James Drennen and Tim Jarvis.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
