Louise Marie Duncan
Louise Marie Duncan of Sullivan, Missouri was born on June 3, 1921in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Paul Tappella and Caroline (Berra) Tappella. Louise departed this life on September 26, 2005 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-four years, three months, and twenty-three days.
Louise was united in marriage to Lloyd Duncan on July 18, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Louise is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd Duncan of Sullivan, Missouri, one son, Lloyd Duncan, Jr. and wife Rose Mary of Union, Missouri, two daughters, Marie Pence of Corning, Arkansas, Rose Lewis and husband Archie of Sullivan, Missouri, one brother, John Tappella of Florissant, Missouri, three grandchildren, Mark Pence, Anne Villmer, Amy Villmer, and three great great grandchildren, Dylan, Zachary, and Zoe. Louise was preceded in death by her parents.
Louise enjoyed reading, embroidering and traveling. Louise loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She traveled when she could and loved every minute of it. Louise was a very kind and generous woman who will be missed by everyone she knew.
Visitation was held Wednesday, September 28, 2005 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, September 29, 2005 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father George Galovich officiating. Serving as pallbearers was Charles Walther, Cameron Bird, Paul Robert, Tommy Gibson, Danny Walther, and Danny Hayes.
Burial took place at the Calvary Cemetery in Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
