KENNETH JEFFERSON DUNLAP OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI ON JULY 18, 1924. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE LILBURN AND NINNIE (PETERS) DUNLAP. KENNETH DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI ON MARCH 1, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-SEVEN YEARS, SEVEN MONTHS AND ELEVEN DAYS.
HE IS SURVIVED BY ONE DAUGHTER; RHONDA COX AND HUSBAND DENNIS OF FARMINGTON, MISSOURI, ONE SON KENNETH CRAIG DUNLAP OF CALEDONIA, MISSOURI, TWO GRANDCHILDREN KYLE COX OF PENSACOLA, FLORIDA AND CODY DUNLAP OF IRONTON, MISSOURI AND ONE NEPHEW ALBERT "BUTSIE" DUNLAP OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY TWO SISTERS DOROTHY BAUMAN AND HALLEY DUNLAP, TWO BROTHERS LLOYD DUNLAP AND FLOYD DUNLAP .
KENNETH ENJOYED LISTENING TO JAZZ MUSIC AND DANCING. KENNETH WAS EMPLOYED AT MCDONNELL DOUGLAS IN THE EARLY 1950'S, KENNETH THEN TOOK EMPLOYMENT WITH THE POSTAL SERVICE AND SERVED AS POST MASTER IN MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI.
VISITATION WAS HELD 10:00 AM TO 11:00 AM ON SATURDAY, MARCH 2, 2002 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED 11:00 AM ON SATURDAY, MARCH 2, 2002 AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL, POTOSI, MISSOURI. BURIAL WAS IN THE HOPEWELL CEMETERY, HOPEWELL, MISSOURI UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE DENNIS COX, KYLE COX, KENNY CRAIG DUNLAP, CODY DUNLAP, JACK DUNLAP AND TOM PHILLIPS.
