Elizabeth Ann Bennett of Old Mines was born July 29, 1950 in Crookston MN, a daughter to the late Pearl (Thompson) Sims and John Sims. Elizabeth passed away on July 1, 2024. Her life was marked by unwavering love, boundless care, and an exceptional ability to see the beauty in others.
Elizabeth was a devoted mother and grandmother whose proudest accomplishment was the role she cherished above all else - nurturing and guiding her children and grandchildren with profound love and wisdom.
In her leisure time, Elizabeth found solace in simple pleasures like going to Flea Markets and indulging in her hobby of Sewing and making quilts. These activities brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity in meaningful ways. She will be remembered for her warm personality and caring nature, always putting others before herself. Spending time with her family brought her great joy. Her loving spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy of love that will be forever cherished by those who survive her. She is survived by her Life Partner Joseph Juliette; Two Daughters, Kathy (Steve) Juliette and Paula (Richard) Couch; Three Sisters, Joy Wiltzius, Luann Jennings, Shirley Volkert and life partner Bill Brown; One Brother, John (Cheryl) Sims; grandchildren Matthew Wicker, Jessica (Travis) Crews, Amanda Couch, Brittany Couch, Derek Juliette, Kaitlyn (Caleb) Huskey, Richard Couch ll, Corey Juliette and great-grandchildren, Allyssa, Riley, Kayley, Brayden, Blair, Brody, Callie and Karlee.
Elizabeth has been reunited with her parents, Pearl (Thompson) Sims and John Sims, as well as her brother Joseph "Lynn" Sims and son Ernie Bennett. Their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved Elizabeth deeply.
