Nicholas “Nick” Elsey
Nick Elsey of Bonne Terre, Missouri was born on Tuesday, April 15, 1986 in Farmington, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, August 25, 2007 having reached the age of twenty-one years, four months and ten days.
Nick is survived by his parents, Sherry and Jeff Hahn of Cadet, Missouri; fiancé, Ashley Cain of Bonne Terre, Missouri; one son, Logan Charles Elsey of Bonne Terre, Missouri; one sister, Amber Hahn and fiancé, Adam Farris of Potosi, Missouri; one brother, Zachary Hahn of Cadet, Missouri; two grandmothers, Naomi Stegall of Potosi, Missouri, Mary Ann and husband Billy Bourbon of Tiff, Missouri; future in-laws, Matthew and Kim Conway of Bonne Terre, Missouri; future brother-in-law, Stephen Cain of Bonne Terre, Missouri; also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, Gracie Kay, other relatives and many friends. Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol and Pedro Elsey.
Nick enjoyed going fishing, hunting and enjoying the many gifts of Mother Nature. He loved spending time with his fiancé, Ashley and son, Logan. Nick also enjoyed playing basketball, working on cars and would always help anyone in need. He will be very deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation was held Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Brother Larry O’Harver officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Zachary Hahn, Adam Farris, Sam Steward, Dennis Craig, Derrek Sumpter, Mike Sansoucie, Caleb Govero and Beau Govero.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
