Elwood Coolidge Thomas

   Elwood Coolidge Thomas, a beloved father, grandfather, and family-oriented individual, passed away on September 25, 2023. He was born on February 13, 1927, in Viburnum, Missouri, a son to the late Eva (Beers) Thomas and Wilburn Thomas. Elwood's warm personality and love for his family were evident in every aspect of his life. 

   Elwood is survived by his loving wife Linda Thomas. Together they shared a beautiful journey filled with love and companionship. Elwood's legacy lives on through his children: Linda Boyd and husband Chris; Tracy Moses and husband Billy; Steven Thomas and wife Jennifer. He is also remembered by his sisters Mary Martin and Lurie Belfield. Elwood was a cherished grandfather to Josh (Jennifer), Kolby (Matty), Jordan, Kaleb, Andrew, Nathaniel, Drake, and Macey. His loving presence extended to his great-grandchildren Taiden, Addison, and Kolter. Additionally, he leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who were touched by his kind-hearted nature.

   Elwood was preceded in death by his mother, brothers Harvey (Verina) Thomas and Earl Thomas. He was also predeceased by his sisters Violet Jacobs Katharine (Joe) Barr and Mae (Caroll) Dockins.

   Elwood will be remembered for his many passions and hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, camping, working outdoors, as well as playing UNO and Aggravation. However, spending quality time with his family brought him the greatest joy. Let us remember the laughter he brought to our lives and the love he selflessly shared with his family. His spirit will forever inspire us to prioritize our loved ones and cherish every moment spent together.
