Zackary Emily of Cadet, Missouri was born on January 17, 1959 in DeSoto, Missouri and departed this life on July 30, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-four years, six months and fourteen days.
Zackary is survived by his mother and stepfather, Nora Emily and Harwood Faulkner of Tiff, Missouri; brothers, Joseph “Rick” Emily and wife, Pat of Cadet, Missouri, Homer Emily and wife, Ginger of Clinton, Louisiana, Cary “Chico” Emily and wife, Dawn of Cadet, Missouri, Tod and Faulkner and wife, Karrie of Hillsboro, Missouri, Coby Emily and wife, Heather of St. Genevieve, Missouri; sisters, Phyllis Hopson and husband, Robert of Cadet, Missouri, Tammy Brown of Fort Stewart, Georgia, Carla Norman and husband, Rick of Festus, Missouri, Christine Ketcherside and husband, Brad of Arkansas, Dawn Faulkner of Tiff, Missouri; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends. Zackary was preceded in death by his father Joseph Emily, sister, Sylvia Emily, paternal grandparents, Christopher and Florence (Pickett) Emily and maternal grandparents, Homer and Rose Bequette Ward.
Zackary enjoyed watching westerns and nascar racing. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Zackary will be greatly remembered for the love and laughter he shared with all.
A Memorial Service was held August 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Cadet Baptist Church, Cadet, Missouri with Brother John Jones officiating.
Moore Funeral Homes was Honored to be selected to guide and direct the services for Mr. Emily.
