John Dearing Evans of St. Louis, Missouri was born on July 18, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri a son of the late Theodora “Teddy” (Cofer) Evans and William Wallace Evans. John departed this life on May 1, 2007 at the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-five years, nine months and thirteen days.
John is survived by one son, William “Bill” Evans of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Nancy Brunner and husband Jack of Toledo, Ohio. John was preceded in death by his parents, Theodora and William Evans.
John enjoyed playing golf and going hunting. He worked as a social worker for the state for many years.
A Graveside Service was held Friday, May 4, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri with Father George Galovich officiating.
Burial took place in the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
