Brenda Marie Eye Fitzwater of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Saturday, April 14, 1956 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter of the late, Geraldine (Skiles) Eye and Kenneth Junior Eye. Brenda departed this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Barnes Jewish Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-six years, two months and thirteen days.
Brenda is survived by her son, Cody Eye and Angelia Jennings of Bourbon, Missouri; two daughters, Mindy Marler of Bourbon, Missouri, Mickie DeClue and husband, Rob Ellis of Ellsinore, Missouri; one sister, Angie Drennen and husband, Ralph of Bourbon, Missouri; one brother, Roger Eye and wife, Mona of Potosi, Missouri, nine grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sirrina, Gary, Augustina, Isaiah, Leah, Annabella, Koltin, Kapri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by one son, Mitchell DeClue, one sister, Julia Eye, one grandchild, Patience Reese.
Brenda was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, going fishing and horseback riding. Brenda’s greatest love was spending time with her family especially her grandbabies. She will be greatly missed and loved by all.
Visitation was held Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the White Oak Grove Baptist Church, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the White Oak Grove Baptist Church, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Jeff Richards officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the White Oak Grove Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Cody Eye, Kenny Price, Roddie Price, Clyde Eye, Dustin Eye and Ricky Williams.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
