ANNA BELLE FODDY OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI, WAS BORN DECEMBER 19, 1921, IN RICHWOODS, MISSOURI, A DAUGHTER OF EDWARD AND MYRTLE LOUISE (BOYSTER) YARBROUGH. ANNA DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT MISSOURI BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTER ON JUNE 25, 2001, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SEVENTY-NINE YEARS, SIX MONTHS AND SIX DAYS.
ANNA WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO WILLIAM EDWARD FODDY, SR. ON NOVEMBER 14, 1944, IN SULLIVAN, MISSOURI.
ANNA IS SURVIVED BY ONE SON, WILLIAM EDWARD FODDY OF MINERAL POINT, ONE GRANDDAUGHTER, PAMELA FODDY OF HICKSVILLE, NEW YORK, ONE BROTHER ALEX YARBROUGH AND WIFE DOROTHY OF POTOSI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. ANNA WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, EDWARD AND MYRTLE YARBROUGH, HER HUSBAND, WILLIAM FODDY, SR., HER DAUGHTER, CATHERINE ANN FODDY, THREE BROTHERS, JOHN, LUKE AND ROBERT YARBROUGH, FOUR SISTERS BETTY LUCAS, LAURA SMITH, MARY EVELYN YARBROUGH AND PEARL YARBROUGH.
ANNA ENJOYED QUILTING, KNITTING AND SEWING. SHE HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR HER FAMILY AND EACH OF THEM HELD A VERY DEAR PLACE IN HER HEART.
VISITATION WAS HELD TUESDAY, JUNE 26, 2001, FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27, 2001, AT 10:00 A.M. WITH FATHER GEORGE GALOVICH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN JEFFERSON BARRACHS NATIONAL CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI. SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, WILLIAM FODDY, JR., ALEX YARBROUGH, DOROTHY YARBROUGH, LEWIS SMITH, TAMMY SMITH AND CHAD SMITH.
