Waneda Lorraine Forinash of Irondale departed this life on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Community Manor Nursing Home in Farmington. Waneda was born October 30, 1931 in Irondale, a daughter of the late Elbert Chapman and the late Lena Rebecca (Martin) Chapman.
Waneda was united in marriage to the late James W. Forinash on December 19, 1948 in Piggot, Arkansas. They were blessed with four children born to the union.
Waneda was a long-time member of the Irondale United Methodist Church. She had a great love for God and Family. She was a home maker and a part time City Collector for the City of Irondale for over thirty years.
Waneda is survived by her two sons, Dwayne Forinash and wife Linda (Lumos) of Ironton and Darrell Jacob Forinash and wife Nancy (Dickey) of St. Louis; daughter-in-law, Carla (Porter) Forinash of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; dear and special nephew, Charles Chapman and by many other dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, James Forinash; daughter, Patricia Elaine Forinash; son, Dennis Ray Forinash; sisters, Irene Barbee, Lucille Moss-St. Gemme, Zelma Eaton, Gladine Bick and Hilda Chapman; brothers, Harry Chapman, Robert Chapman, Paul Chapman, Hadley Chapman and Henry Chapman and by two great grandchildren, Eloise Grace Forinash and Owen Thomas Forinash.
