Reva L. Cantrell Forrester
Reva Cantrell Forrester of Bismarck, Missouri was born on Wednesday, October 4, 1939 in Leadwood, Missouri a daughter of the late, Anna Marie (Ames) Mayberry and Johnnie Vernon Mayberry. Reva departed this life on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of seventy years, eleven months and one day.
Reva was united in marriage to Carl Cantrell on October 19, 1957 and then married to Robert “Bob” Forrester on November 28, 1987.
Reva is survived by three daughters, Norma R. Burns of Sentinel, Oklahoma, Linda F. Ferguson and husband, Greg of Thornton, Colorado, Brenda L. Cantrell of Sentinel, Oklahoma; three sons, Carl R. Cantrell, Jr. and wife, Margaret of Bismarck, Missouri, Earl E. Cantrell, Sr. and wife, Cindy of Sentinel, Oklahoma, Omar Lopez of Dill City, Oklahoma; one sister, Doris A. Scott of Leadwood, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Clara Mayberry of Potosi, Missouri; one uncle, Earl Ames of Park Hills, Missouri. In addition to her parents Reva was preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Cantrell who passed away May 19, 1985 and Robert Forrester who passed away April 2, 2007, one sister, Juanita R. Hudgins, two brothers, Gene Mayberry, Fred Mayberry, one son-in-law, John Burns.
Reva loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling all over the United States. Reva also loved to cook and bake with pineapple upside-down cake being her specialty. She was a member and past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #166 Irondale, Missouri.
Visitation was held Friday, September 10, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Irondale, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Irondale, Missouri with Reverend Frank Miller officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jonathon Miller, Jeremy Miller, Ryan Cantrell, Jason Iahn, Omar Lopez and Jared Pinkley.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Leadwood Cemetery, Leadwood, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 104 Oak Street, Irondale, Missouri.
