Rosemary Forrester of West Plains, Missouri was born on Wednesday, October 19, 1927 in Irondale, Missouri a daughter of the late, Clara (Beck) Province and Everette “Jimmy” Province. Rosemary departed this life on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the NHC Healthcare, West Plains, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-two years, nine months and twenty-four days.
Rosemary was united in marriage to Charles Forrester on June 3, 1950 in Potosi, Missouri and were blessed with two children.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Charles Forrester of West Plains, Missouri; one daughter, Brenda Lewis and husband, Ron of Belle, Missouri; one son, Steven Forrester of West Plains, Missouri; one brother, Wilburn Province and wife, Imogene of Irondale, Missouri; one granddaughter, April Benton and husband, Shawn Muenks of Jefferson City, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by one sister, Esther Province and one brother, Lester Province.
Rosemary enjoyed being a military wife, always took care of her children. After her husband, Charles was out of the military she started farming, fishing and always had a beautiful flower garden. Rosemary loved Mother Nature and her many gifts. Mostly Rosemary loved spending time with her only grandchild, April. Rosemary was a remarkable person, not only for her longevity, but also for the intensity and clarity of focus with which she lived her life and she proudly enjoyed caring for her loving family.
Visitation was held Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Irondale, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Irondale, Missouri with Reverend Bill Apple officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery, Caledonia, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were, Larry Province, Gary Province, Dennis Province, Bruce Province, Ron Lewis and Shawn Muenks. Honorary Pallbearers were, Wilburn Province and Steven Forrester.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 104 Oak Street, Irondale, Missouri.
