CHARLES MACK FORSHEE OF CALEDONIA, MISSOURI WAS BORN SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20, 1935 IN LEADWOOD, MISSOURI, A SON OF THE LATE MACK AND MABEL (HELMS) FORSHEE. CHARLES DIED THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2000 AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AT THE AGE OF SIXTY-FIVE YEARS, ONE MONTH AND TWENTY-FOUR DAYS.
CHARLES IS SURVIVED BY THREE DAUGHTERS, TONIA AUTRY AND HUSBAND DON OF ELLINGTON, MISSOURI, BETTY FREEMAN OF ELLINGTON, MISSOURI, RENEE MENSIK AND HUSBAND RADEK OF POPLAR BLUFF, MISSOURI; THREE SONS, RICKIE FORSHEE AND WIFE CHRISTINE OF CALVERTON PARK, MISSOURI, MICHAEL FORSHEE AND WIFE MISSY OF ST. DAVID, PENNSYLVANIA, CHARLES "JUNIOR" FORSHEE AND WIFE STACY OF POPLAR BLUFF, MISSOURI; A BELOVED WIFE, GOLDIE LEE CLINTON OF CALEDONIA, MISSOURI; ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN, ONE GREAT GRAND CHILD, TWO BROTHERS, RONALD FORSHEE AND WIFE MARY OF FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS, DONALD FORSHEE OF MAULDEN, MISSOURI; A SPECIAL AUNT AND SECOND MOTHER, VERNIECE HELMS OF LEADWOOD. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS, CHARLES WAS ALSO PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SISTER, WANDA LEE FORSHEE.
PRIOR TO HIS RETIREMENT, CHARLES WAS EMPLOYED AS AN ORNAMENTAL CONCRETE WORK, HE SPECIALIZED IN CONCRETE YARD FIGURINES. HE ENJOYED FISHING AND HUNTING IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS.
CHARLES HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR BOTH HIS FAMILY AND HIS EXTENDED FAMILY, ALWAYS MAKING TIME TO ENJOY THE GRANDCHILDREN.
VISITATION WAS HELD FROM 5:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON DECEMBER 17, 2000 AT MOORE FUNERAL HOMES IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WAS CONDUCTED AT 11: AM ON DECEMBER 18, 2000 AT MOORE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND HARRY WHITE OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BIG RIVER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE JERRY HINKLE, MELVIN JETT, STEVEN FORSHEE, AARON FORSHEE, LEO CROCKER, AND CHARLES HINKLE.
