Juanita Berniece Forshee
Juanita Forshee of Leadwood, Missouri was born on Thursday, January 3, 1929 in Stony Point, Missouri a daughter of the late, Frances (DeMier) Mosier and Winfred Mosier. Juanita departed this life on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-nine years, three months and twenty-seven days.
Juanita was united in marriage to Frank E. Forshee in July of 1961 in Desloge, Missouri.
Juanita is survived by one sister, Ruth Thompson of Potosi, Missouri; one brother, Lessel Mosier and wife, Carol of Potosi, Missouri; two nieces, one nephew, two great nieces, four great nieces and one great great niece also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Forshee, one brother, Chester Mosier, one sister-in-law, Rosie Mosier, one brother-in-law, Russell Thompson and one nephew, Verlin Mosier.
Juanita was a longtime member of the Providence Baptist Church, Bonne Terre, Missouri. She enjoyed flower gardening and tending to her beautiful yard. Juanita also enjoyed crocheting and visiting her family and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, May 2, 2008 from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Darrell Jauch officiating. Honoring Juanita by serving as pallbearers were: Lynn Portell, Mark Krause, Chris Mosier and Buck Degonia.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Germania Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Missouri.
Memorials may be directed to the Germania Cemetery for the maintenance and upkeep, checks may be made, C/O Juanita Politte and sent to Germania Cemetery 1397 Old Cadet Rd., Bonne Terre, MO 63628.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
