RANDOLPH FRAZIER
RANDOLPH "RANDY" BARRY FRAZIER WAS BORN AT HOUSTON, TEXAS ON AUGUST 9, 1942. HE WAS THE SON MARY JANE (DURHAM)NASH AND THE LATE MARVIN RANDOLPH FRAZIER. RANDY DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE ST. JOHN'S MERCY MEDICAL CENTER IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI ON NOVEMBER 29, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY YEARS, THREE MONTHS AND TWENTY DAYS.
RANDY WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO MARGNETTA YVONNE ROBBINS ON OCTOBER 28, 1960 IN EAST ST. LOUIS, ILLINOIS. TO THIS UNION SIX CHILDREN WERE BORN.
RANDY IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, MARGNETTA "MARTY" FRAZIER OF CADET, MISSOURI, MOTHER, MARY JANE NASH OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI, ONE DAUGHTER, TIERA FRAZIER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, TWO SONS, TYRONE FRAZIER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND TRAVIS FRAZIER OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, ONE BROTHER, CLYDE FRAZIER AND WIFE GLADYS OF MINERAL POINT, MISSOURI, FIVE GRANDCHILDREN, TIFFANY, TRISTAN, CHARLES, TREVOR AND ANGELICA, COUSIN, DEBBIE HAZEL AND HUSBAND LEE OF CHRISTOPHER, ILLINOIS, DEAR FRIENDS, EVELYN AND DELMAR GILES OF FISK, MISSOURI, BRUCE AND JOANN CAMPBELL OF LABADIE, MISSOURI, AND GENTRY AND MARY GIBSON OF PARK HILLS, MISSOURI AND MANY OTHER NIECES, NEPHEWS, FRIENDS AND BUSINESS ASSOCIATES. RANDY WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS FATHER, MARVIN RANDOLPH FRAZIER , STEP FATHER, GEORGE NASH, TWO DAUGHTERS, TRACY LEE YVONNE FRAZIER AND TINA MARIE FRAZIER AND ONE SON, TEMPLE RAY FRAZIER.
RANDY AND HIS WIFE, MARTY OWNED AND OPERATED MANY AMUSEMENT PARK RIDES AND GAMES. HE WAS PAST BOARD MEMBER AND MEMBER OF THE MISSOURI ASSOCIATION OF FAIRS AND FESTIVALS. RANDY WAS AN ACCOMPLISHED WEIGHT LIFTER, AND HAD RECEIVED SEVERAL COMPETITION MEDALS. HE WAS WELL KNOWN FROM MIDWEST TO GULF TO EAST COAST. RANDY WAS EMPLOYED AT THE FARMINGTON CORRECTIONAL CENTER IN 1988 TO 1991 AND THEN AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT IN 1986 UNTIL 1988. HE WAS A GOVERNMENT STATE SAFETY BOARD FOR AMUSEMENT RIDES AND WEIGHT LIFTER. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE DESOTO ELKS LODGE AND A PAST MEMBER OF THE POTOSI LIONS CLUB. RANDY SERVED OUR COUNTY IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS FROM MAY 1960 UNTIL JANUARY 24, 1963. RANDY WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.
VISITATION WAS HELD 3:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2002 AND 9:00 AM TO 11:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2002 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
A FUNERAL SERVICE WAS CONDUCTED 11:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2002 AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH REVEREND J.D. BOYET OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE NEW DIGGINS CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE TYRONE FRAZIER, TRAVIS FRAZIER, CHARLES FRAZIER, JAMES NEAL, CLYDE FRAZIER, DELMAR GILES, MORRIS GILES AND DUGGAN GILES. SERVING AS HONORARY PALLBEARER WAS HAROLD ROBBINS.
