PHILLIP DONALD GALSTER OF CADET, MISSOURI, WAS BORN AUGUST 19, 1957, IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, A SON OF DONALD JOSEPH GALSTER AND MARGIE RUTH (COURTWAY) ROLLING. PHILLIP DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT HIS RESIDENCE ON APRIL 11, 2001, HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF FORTY-THREE YEARS, SEVEN MONTHS AND TWENTY-THREE DAYS.
PHILLIP WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO EVELYN MARIE MORRIES ON AUGUST 5, 1978, IN POTOSI, MISSOURI.
PHILLIP IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, EVELYN GALSTER OF CADET, ONE SON, PHILLIP D. GALSTER, JR., OF CADET, HIS MOTHER, MARGIE RUTH ROLLING OF CADET, THREE BROTHERS, GARRY L. GALSTER AND WIFE MARLENE OF CADET, TERRY W. GALSTER OF CADET, PAUL R. GALSTER OF CADET, THREE SISTERS, DONNA, GALSTER OF CADET, KATHY J. PHARES AND HUSBAND PAUL OF POTOSI, MELISSA A. ROLLING OF CADET AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. PHILLIP WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE NEPHEW, DONALD R. GALSTER.
PHILLIP ENJOYED WORKING ON CARS AND DOING ODD JOBS FOR HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE HAD A GREAT TALENT FOR PAINTING ON GLASS AND WAS VERY PROUD OF HIS MANY COMPLETED PROJECTS. PHILLIP ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH MOTHER NATURE ESPECIALLY FISHING.
VISITATION WAS HELD AT 5:00 P.M. ON APRIL 12, 2001 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WAS CONDUCTED AT 11:00 A.M. ON APRIL 13, 2001 AT MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH FATHER TED PIEPER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE ST. JOACHIM CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, GARRY GALSTER, TERRY GALSTER, TRAVIS MOUSSETTE, DAVID MISSEY, GARRY GALSTER JR., CHRISTOPHER MOUSSETTE, DENNIS MINNER, AND FRAN COLEMAN.
