Rev. Kenneth Eugene Gamble

Rev. Kenneth Gamble of Mineral Point was born May 16, 1936 in Mineral Point a son to the late Lawrence Gamble and Harriette (Miller) Gamble. Rev. Gamble departed this life Friday, July 9, 2021 having reached the age of 85 years, 1 month and 23 days.
On May 14, 1960, Rev. Gamble was united in marriage to Faye (Stringer) Gamble and together they happily raised their children and were blessed with many years of Love and Happiness.
Rev. Gamble is survived by his wife, Faye (Stringer) Gamble; son, Rev. Kenny Gamble and wife Darla of Silex; daughter, Leah Smith and husband John of Mineral Point; sisters, Faye Allen and husband Jim of Mineral Point, Barb Kean and husband Roy of Mineral Point and Pat Wilson of De Soto; four grandsons, Steven, Michael, Sean, Cody, ten great grandchildren and many other dear and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Rev. Gamble was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Ray Gamble; sisters, Blanche Asher, Iva Skaggs, Beulah Huff, Maxine Jarvis, Pauline Heifner and Emmalou Gillam; brothers, Grover Gamble, Homer Gamble, Paul Gamble, Rick Gamble and David Gamble.
Rev. Gamble was the Pastor at Springtown Victory Church for sixteen years. His love and devotion to his church, preaching, visiting, and praying for the sick will be greatly missed by everyone. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed westerns, birds and the beauty of flowers. He enjoyed shooting his guns and riding four wheelers with his grandsons. Above everything else Rev. Gamble had a solid faith in Christ his Savior. His love, kindness and example of his faith will be cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation for Rev. Gamble was held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4PM-8PM and Wednesday, July 14, 2021 9AM-1PM.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 14, 2021 at 1PM at Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Wade officiating. Burial and final prayers took place at New Diggins Cemetery in Mineral Point. Serving as pallbearers were Cody Smith, Layne Asher, Steven Gamble, Michael Gamble, Austin Gamble and Tyler Gamble.
All services were under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri.
