Leo E. Gerritzen, Jr. age 47 passed away on September 15, 2008 of pancreatic cancer at Potosi, Missouri. Leo was born October 26, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri.
Leo graduated from Central High School in 1979. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1983.
Leo was co/owner and creative director of Gerritzen/Price Advertising Agency, St. Louis, Missouri. Leo began his advertising career with the partner group upon graduating from Washington University.
He is survived by his parents, Leo and Rita Gerritzen of Newburgh, Indiana and brother, Steven Gerritzen, sister-in-law, Shelley Gerritzen, nieces, Madison and Danielle Gerritzen of Dallas, Texas. Sister, Lisa Gerritzen of Decatur, Georgia. Brother, Daniel Gerritzen, sister-in-law, Marianna Gerritzen, nephew, Michael, niece, Grace and nephew, Jack Gerritzen of Indianapolis, Indiana. Leo is also survived by his best friend and co/owner of Gerritzen/Price of the last eighteen years, Debbie Price of St. Louis, Missouri.
Leo was a dear son, brother, cousin, nephew and uncle to all his family members.
There will be memorial visitation at the Church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, September 19, 2008.
There will be a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 7148 Forsyth Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be private.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
