Ruthie Lee Gibson Walther (Gibson)

Ruthie Walther of Blackwell, Missouri, was born March 18, 1953, in Potosi, Missouri, a daughter of Mary Gibson and the late Charles Gibson. Ruthie departed this life Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at her residence having reached the age of 66 Years and 1 Day.
Ruthie was united in marriage to Charles Walther on September 20, 1969, in Potosi, Missouri.
Ruthie is survived by her husband Charles Walther of Blackwell, MO, one daughter, Mary Annette Williams and husband Bill of Festus, MO, three sons, Brian Walther and wife Brenda of Blackwell, MO, Scott Walther of Blackwell, MO, Jamie Walther and wife Marie of Blackwell, MO, her mother, Mary Gibson of Potosi, MO, three sisters, Rosemary Duncan and husband Lloyd of St. Clair, MO, Ruby Byrd of Washington, MO, Carol Lewis of Potosi, MO, one brother, Thomas Gibson and wife Joyce of Potosi, MO, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her father Ruthie was also preceded in death by one daughter, Heather Walther, three sons, Daniel, Keith and Kevin Walther, one sister, Charlotte Stroup and two grandchildren.
Ruthie was a member of the St. James Catholic Church. She had a great love for her family and enjoyed the many dinners and family events. Ruthie was a nature lover, she would set for hours watching the birds, working in her yard, nurturing her flower gardens and loving on her animals. She looked forward to mushroom hunting every year. She would relax listening to music.
A kind and loving lady who will forever be loved and remembered.
