DAVID LEE GILLIAM
DAVID LEE GILLIAM OF POTOSI, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT POTOSI, MISSOURI ON JUNE 11, 1968. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE JAMES EDWARD AND DOROTHY LAUVON (TURNER) GILLIAM. DAVID DEPARTED THIS LIFE ON AUGUST 13, 2002 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF THIRTY-FOUR YEARS, TWO MONTHS AND THREE DAYS.
HE IS SURVIVED BY ONE BROTHER, JIMMY GILLIAM AND WIFE JOAN OF POTOSI, MISSOURI, ONE SISTER, MARY ANN GILLIAM OF POTOSI, MISSOURI AND MANY OTHER AUNTS, UNCLES, NIECES, NEPHEWS AND MANY FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY ONE SISTER, HALLIE MARIE GILLIAM.
DAVID WAS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE PURCELL TIRE AND RUBBER COMPANY IN POTOSI. DAVID HAD A GREAT LOVE FOR MOTHER NATURE AND HER MANY GIFTS. HE LIKED ALL TYPES OF HUNTING AND FISHING AND LOVED TO BE OUTDOORS.
VISITATION WAS HELD 2:00 PM TO 4:00 PM ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 15, 2002 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN POTOSI.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED AT 4:00 PM ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 15, 2002 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME WITH REVEREND BRYCE WILSON OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE PALMER CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE SCOTT SANSOUCIE, KENNY WILKINSON, DAVE ROSS, ALLEN SHEPARD, STEVE ADAMS AND MIKE JACOBSEN.
