Sonya Lynn Gooch of Lincoln, Missouri was born on Tuesday, July 13, 1954 in Bonne Terre, Missouri a daughter of the late, Alma Jewell (Owens) McGee and Burlin Crocker. Sonya departed this life on Friday, June 24, 2011 at her residence having reached the age of fifty-six years, eleven months and eleven days.

Sonya is survived by two daughters, Tammy Brotherton of Carrolton, Missouri, Jamie Colbert and husband, Steven of Troy, Missouri; two sons, Tony Crocker and wife, Stephanie of Cadet, Missouri, Tommy Brotherton of Jefferson City, Missouri; one stepson, Jason Gooch of Moberly, Missouri; two brothers, Burlin Eric Crocker and wife, Kathleen of Farmington, Missouri, Junior Byran Jenkins and friend, Joy Jennings of Belgrade, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Perry Cook of Farmington, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Janet Jenkins of Desloge, Missouri, Linda Ashlock of Ellington, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Sonya was preceded in one sister, Donita Cook, three brothers, Leonard McGee, Roger Jenkins and Gregory McGee.

Sonya loved spending time in the outdoors, camping and swimming. She enjoyed cooking large dinners for her family and friends. Sonya also enjoyed watching television and talking on the phone. She will be greatly missed by her many loved ones.

Visitation was held Monday, June 27, 2011 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Monday, June 27, 2011 at 3:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Kathleen Crocker officiating.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Wright Cemetery, Belgrade, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Jeremy Crocker, Bryan Crocker, Jason Gooch, Dwayne Wilson, Mitchell Jenkins and Danny Gooch.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
