John Victor Govero

John Victor Govero, known by friends and family as “Victor”, was born November 5, 1931 in Bliss, Missouri and a son to the late Patrick Joseph Govero and Mary Susan (Sampson) Govero. Victor departed this life Wednesday, March 30, 2022 having reached the age of 90 years, 4 months and 25 days.
Victor is survived by his sisters, Aurelia Wills, Irene Thebeau, Verna Coleman and husband Roger, Teresa Giratos and husband Michael, Sharon Brown and husband Pat; brothers, Chad Govero and wife Patricia, Lawrence Govero and wife Janet; brother –in- law, Lawrence Warden and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Victor was preceded in death by his sisters, Josephine Blount, Mary Warden; brothers – in-law, Ervin Bone, Eugene Wills, Wayne Blount, Leonard “Jiggs” Thebeau; great niece, Lauren Blount and great great nephew, Nicholas Powers.
Victor was blessed with the gift of music and he loved playing for anyone who would listen. He played for the Senior Citizens in Potosi and also played for the guests at Hardees. He brought joy and laughter where ever he went. He will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of playing music with him and by those who loved him.
