Nancy Halsted of Cadet, Missouri was born on Thursday, February 22, 1945 in Clarksburg, West Virginia a daughter of the late, Marella (Rupe) Moore and David G. Moore, Sr.. Nancy departed this life on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-four years, nine months and eighteen days.
Nancy was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Halsted on April 14, 1979 in Arnold, Missouri.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Donald Halsted, Sr. of Cadet, Missouri; three sons, Bryan Woltering of Jefferson City, Missouri, Wayne Woltering and wife, Laura of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Donnie Halsted, Jr. of Rolla, Missouri; one grandson, Dustin Woltering; one great grandson, Sean Paul Burton. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Peck.
Nancy loved making crafts of all kinds. She was always doing beadwork, knitting, crocheting or making dolls. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 6:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Farmington, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark St., Potosi, Missouri.
